Our Vermont hives are on a slightly larger than standard garden near Dandenong Creek, with almost half of the back yard dedicated to vegetables, herbs and perennials. It also has the largest feijoa tree we’ve ever seen, with a small pond at the rear for the bees. Perfect!

The December 2021 harvest:
Dark and brooding. The bees have been out amongst the trees to create this rich, leathery and oily, treacle twin displaying hefty notes sandalwood.
The February 2021 harvest:
Straight up on the appearance you’re expecting something rich and that’s exactly what you get. Dark golden syrup, brown sugar, yet butter and dairy elements to the finish. Think chicken teriyaki.
