Chicken breeds include Aruacanas, Australorps, Leghorns and Isa Browns. They’re not livestock – they’re part of the family!

Description
We’ve kept chickens for years. Even longer than we’ve had bees! We love them, and find that they complement the bee hives wonderfully. We actually keep our bees in the chook run, because we find that the chickens help keep hive beetle populations down.
Now we find ourselves with more eggs than a frittata-loving family can handle, so we’ve added them to the store.
Each dozen eggs are unique – a mix of different colours from the different chicken breeds we keep in our back yard.
And the eggs taste great!
